Fantastically positive news this week friends - we are now able to recycle soft plastic along with our hard plastic waste!!
As you know, Ógras are very environment-focused and we are always doing our best to make a difference big or small both personally and in our work.
As part of the Climate Justice Project 2020 we produced a leaflet all about Ecobricks (ogras.ie/aeraid) to all Ógras members in the country to share information about plastics and good ways to repurpose them, teaching them how correctly start an Ecobrick etc., and of course there is still value in creating Ecobricks and we should still be careful when recycling soft plastic at home too - always make sure your soft or hard plastic is clean, dry and recyclable before disposal.
Of course do remain conscientious about your plastic use and trying to cut it down in any case.
